Thank you fabric rehab
This lovely package arrived at my door yesterday morning from FABRIC REHAB. I was lucky enough to win there stash give-away ; seven fat quarters of melody miller print. Now to decide what to make.Im normally putting prints to clothes but these designs i think are most suited to home dec stuff. Im thinking they would all make great T-Cosys. (how do you spell that correctly?!) funky serviets, table mats or runners, aprons, cushions. the list goes on.
For the next few days though while i decide they are going to pretty up my kitchen dresser.

PLAYING AROUND
Hello,
been playing around with aprons again. for someone who doesnt actually wear one it is getting a bit silly.Remember the mama apron?..
Been looking at this mama apron and thought in the summer that it would make a nice dress ? didnt actually get round to doing it, surprise surprise and now its colder it would need to have more structure, so i thought maybe a simple pinafore / waistcoat style back would look good .You could wear it with a long sleeve top underneath type thing. Needs work and a change of fabric but might be nice , belted and comfy im thinking. What do you think, what makes the perfect day dress for you? comfort ? Style? length? colour? me i need it to be long enough so that when i bend over in sainsburys the veg guy doesnt faint with overexposure!
